From Mahleej to Natasha

Did you know there was a Miss Pakistan World beauty pageant that is held OUT OF PAKISTAN and has recently seen its SIXTH annual contest?

No seriously there is! And like most (if not all) of their winners are suppose to be from Pakistan, prolly in the sense that they are brown and their greatest grandest mommies belonged to some part of Punjab, Balochistan, NWFP, or Sind perha non-profit Vision of Developmentaps. I glanced at their contestants page and errr why did I have this dirty feeling that I was checking out an escort agency or somewhat like that? uck uck!! No disrespects to all honeys but really, some of you need to shed some flab (or maybe learn to hide it a bit maybe??)

No s***!

K so I’m a teeny meeny bit over the top with this one but it really was news to me. (Yea sherry, where were you for the past 20 years huh?). I had a look at this Mushy loving Mahleej character and errr who ever said she was a beauty must be crazy. No disrespect to you honey. You’re from the same species that I am but beauty pageant winner material… you ain’t! Sorry! Have you ‘seen’ what it takes to be a beauty queen? Aren’t I glad you’re done with the title (even if I still think it is ridiculous)! But I like Natasha. She doesn’t seem as slutty as her former predecessor (fingers crossed it stays that way) and I’m really hoping that with what she is already doing for the women of Pakistan, this crown would only help her in her cause.

So the new Miss Pakistan World is Natasha Paracha! She’s 23, a graduate of UC Berkeley, founder of the Pakistan Student Association at the university, and currently running  non-profit Vision of Development focused on helping women in Pakistan’s rural lands.

More pics here, here & here!

I completely agree with you Alleena about their contestant pictures. They are so … so… suggestive and skanky. What are they promoting through this? It certainly is not the image of Pakistan!

Hania you probably are of the same race as these s**** are! You were born in the West and believe that dating, having s** after you turn 16, going to prom night and baring your skin, drinking and all that is all natural! Maybe in a few years we’ll see you as the next Miss Pakistan World!

I think it’s a good promotional step towards a broader image of Pakistani women. It needs to be more refined of course but the vision behind it is grand. Congratulations to Natasha. I think she is educated and beautiful so a good combo of beauty and brains.

  14. June 3, 2008 at 11:35 am

I didn’t think Mahleej was model material from any angle but Natasha is pretty good.

  15. June 3, 2008 at 11:43 am

Just for the record, I am not for or against this beauty pageant! I’m merely commenting on face value 🙂 Please don’t kill me in the ongoing cat fight here 😉 Carry on !

I really don’t understand the hatred here for these women. They are performing in a perfectly legal competition and displaying their talents. What is so wrong with that? Those who are infuriated should learns to be more mature.

  17. June 3, 2008 at 3:41 pm

    @Cindy

There are certain rules under which every society functions. What’s acceptable in one place may not be acceptable at another. People should, in my opinion, be allowed to live by their own rules, however, in some cases the damage and change one person’s action can bring to a certain community can put this liberty to question. So who’s to say who’s right and whose wrong?
Take polygamy for example, in the U.S its an offence, but in most places in the rest of the world its not! You would tend to look at it at least as unusual, i would consider it perfectly legal and acceptable… That polygamist in the US bothers no one, has kids who he takes care of unlike a large number of men there, theyre perfectly normal and do well in school and what not. Shouldnt he be left in peace too?

Natasha is really ugly… nothing compared the past years winners. Great combo of brains and beauty? Let’s hope she’s intelligent because the beauty is definitely not there.

Here a funny comment I read on a blog site: “I have personally met Sonia Ahmed, Director of Miss Pakistan World, whom by the way is a Bitch. She is very rude and arrongant about hosting this pageant and controlling the girls. I really felt sorry for Mariyah Moten, in 2006 when she participted and held the Pakistani flag wearing a red bikini, then Mahleej Sarkari in 2008 for calling the President of Pakistan a hunk, and now Natasha Paracha who is making a fool out of herself in public wearing this stupid sash and crown making remarks about political matters which she knows nothing about. Sonia just uses these girls to build her pageant and creates controversy to gain media attention. After 2006 I have not heard her promote Mariyah Moten infact I have noticed she was taken off the website for a while due to a fall out between herself and Mariyah. Then with Mahleej I heard she refued to keep her end of the contract and give her the domain name for Mahleej’s website, which is why she also went her seperate way. And now lets see how long this will last between her and Natasha. Sonia only wants to use these girls to promote herself, since she is too old and fat to make it in the industry. She uses them as stepping stone to network and make money for herself, she does not give a damn about Pakistan or its citizens.”

Haha… I dont know Sonia Ahmed, but after looking at her pictures I think she looks like a FAT UGLY COW that needs to control that wacky hair on her head.

Sonia is a good person and its better to be rude and arrogant than to love any tom deck and harry.

She is needed to control the girls, or else good luck to the Pakistani women winning…. as they can do whatever they want with their title.

She is strict and perfectly well suited for her arrongance. She does give two shits about any one and that is the perfect attitude to have for pakistanis.

People who are friends with her know who she is…

Whether she is a gorgeous damsel or a fat cow..(which she is not) have a look at all hher pictures… She is beautiful by the way… better than any miss pakistan…. But who said that there is a criteria for running a pageant… who said that one has to be a super model to run a pageant. Her wacky hair is actually the most beautiful hair…. She has beautiful Cuban Brazilian looks and looks gorgeous… Please do look at all her pics…

So the above post is just posted out of jealousy and hatred… but it s a good way to cover the hatred.

Anyways,… for someone who has introduced a pageant for pakistanis… I think she is an incredible person…..

I wish reallllllllyyy wish that one day I read about how Pakistan is launching a state of the art, all Pakistani particle accelerator; as a sign of its progress rather than these illusory symptoms of modernization we mistake as progressive … no offense to the Pakistani woman I would just think she is way more progressive when she is an inventor rather than out there adhering to the fake standards of freedom designed to distract the world from what is truly enlightening: human innovation and creativity which is NOT gender barred.

Mariyah Moten is an ugly woman who is known for prostituting herself to old men. The fallout between the company was that the company found out that she was into all this kind of mess. and they have to revoke even her top 5 position. Mahleej Sarkari, Natasha PAracha etc are all on the acheivers list on the site, as a tribute to all the work they have done.

It is only Mariyah Moten, that has been dismissed from the company. Now Mariyah has no other job as she only looks up to the company for anything and everything and copies whatever they do…

In 4 years she has not moved on with her life. She is sad and embarrased that she was let go so quietly that she did not even know what to do.

She keeps uptodate with the Miss Pakistan company to get into their footsteps and keep doing something to atleast look as though she is associated…

So now. she still lives in houston, and does nothing at all. She goes to small pageant, pays her own air ticket, and reaches there. It is unfortunately sad for her, no matter how much of acting or pageantry she does, she is a no name… in the end… a few more years.. and people like me will stop talking about her…
