Taliban Suspend Talks With Govt over Deadlock

Why am I not surprised to hear this? *chuckles*

So our democratic, non-barbaric, pious, and ‘civil’ government has had the door slammed on their face by the T-Boys. Ha. Were you really expecting them to do otherwise? How silly of you.

There were basically four demands put forward by the T-boys to our kind government:

– Withdrawl of Pakistan Army from South Waziristan tribal region and the Swat Valley

– Prisoner exchange. The Taliban claim to be holding over a hundred security forces members and want some 200 of their militants in jails to be released in exchange.

– Compensation to the affected people of Waziristan and Swat

– Free movement of Taliban activities in the country

So I ask our government, what is stopping you from accepting these demands that you had deemed so ‘justified’ while you were taking out protest rallies and crying over in support of the T-Boys when you were NOT in power? What are you really afraid of? Or is it that you are finally showing your true colors? *chuckles*

The Taliban don’t really want a peace deal with the govt. They are just buying time to regroup and start afresh. But out people and our ‘democratic’ rulers will never get that. Someday, god forbid, democracy will kill this country!

Zardari is slowly backing out on his words… Nawaz is getting desperate about restoring judges but there seems to be a fallout between the two coalition parties… Why have the MPs been kept in the dark about the talks between Sharif and Zardari for restoring the judges if there is no hurdle in between? Zardari knows if he reinstates them, they might open closed files on him and he can’t really trust Nawaz in the long run. This government of coalition is soon going to be dust along with their slogan of democraty. So who cares about Taliban right now anyways! The least bit of importance is given to them and the TALKS with them. The government is disinterested in solving the tribal issue. THAT is why the Taliban have pulled out and seeing that this is the ideal time to regroup they are catching on fast with how this tumbling block of a government really works.

Wake up O blind awaam of Pakistan. You are being fooled yet again by the very people who sold you out TWICE before!!!!

UNDERSTAND THIS!

DEMOCRACY DON'T RULE THE WORLD, YOU'D BETTER GET THAT IN YOUR HEAD; THIS WORLD IS RULED BY VIOLENCE, BUT I GUESS THAT'S BETTER LEFT UNSAID - Bob Dylan: American folksinger.
