Pakistan’s undersea fiber optic cable suffers damage again

The fibre optic cable that links Pakistan to the rest of the world was damaged on Thursday, affecting Internet users across Pakistan. According to a newspaper’s website, Internet services across Pakistan were suspended following damage to the undersea fibre optic cable SEAMEWE3. The website quoted Pakistan Telecommunications Limited Vice President Mashkoor Hussain as saying that alternative arrangements were being made to restore Internet services in the country.
