How to get an MIT education FREE?

Now THIS is cool…

Massachusetts Institute of Technology is now offering their complete coursework as an “Open Source” educational system—and it’s absolutely FREE!!!

You can choose from Anthropology to Writing and just about everything in between. While you cannot earn a degree from taking these courses, it will give you an education. It’s a great way to learn things you are interested in while not having to leave the comfort of your PC/laptop.

Check it out for yourself at http://ocw.mit.edu/

There HAS to a catch to all this. Nothing in the world is free, education included!

Of course there is a catch to it. You are not receiving the piece of paper that says you did the coursework. The education is free but your future/current employer will not recognize it, you do not get a degree from MIT from the material.

I think it is awesome that MIT has done this but people need to be clear on what is offered –> the knowledge.

UNDERSTAND THIS!

DEMOCRACY DON'T RULE THE WORLD, YOU'D BETTER GET THAT IN YOUR HEAD; THIS WORLD IS RULED BY VIOLENCE, BUT I GUESS THAT'S BETTER LEFT UNSAID - Bob Dylan: American folksinger.
